Creativity is just like’ Spunch, spark or bubble,’ says Aamir. Advertising is his passion and always loves to come up with some new funky ideas.

Q: How would you define ‘Advertising’?
Ans:It is a creative way to solve a business problem or you can say a creative methodology to sell something.
Q: What elements are required to be an efficient art director?
Ans: Just like me! I was joking.” well he should have full grasp of colours, layout and designing elements in a way to make page interesting for the viewers and readers”.
Q: What’s the difference you find in the art direction going on in West and Asia?
Ans: Asian market regarding to advertising is very conservative and Western is very open-minded. A lot of awareness is required in the clients to know how to market the product in Asia. Something is lacking out there.
Q: Where advertising field in Pakistan stands? Any scope for youngsters in it?
Ans It’s picking up, not dared up so much. In comparison to the last two to three years, a lot of change and dimensions are coming in it. Yes, a lot of scope in this field. In Pakistan many universities like NCA,Iqra are offering undergraduate courses in advertising. I would like to give credit to students who are doing this course. They should try their best and make earnest efforts to enter in this field.
Q: Are advertising agencies in Pakistan playing a pioneer role in promoting the consumers to buy any product?
Ans: Advertising is like a fantasy world. So, here in Pakistan when you see an add or billboard people feel they are in that. Advertising agencies are playing a very vital role in persuading the consumers to buy the products and should go for it.
Q:I saw your work: it’s all natural, rather than any other type of abstract or materialistic thoughts and ideas, why?
Ans: Firstly, in advertising you only go for market demand and I do what is required. So, to show the ideas purity and naturality are the most strong and acceptable tools in advertising. Everyone in society can easily understand it.
Q: Picasso believed that artists’ work is the reflection of his personality. Is yours too?
Ans: Yes, too some extent you can say. I think its true but depends is it market oriented or self.

Q: What’s the difference between T.V adds and the still adds like billboards?
Ans: That’s a good question. See, T.V adds are completely different from still one. In T.V adds you have a couple of seconds, shorts, sound effects, motions, animations, emotional attitudes and all of the above you can persuade the consumers easily. In billboards or magazine adds it’s just a short or clip in which you have to show everything. Both have their own importance.
Q:”One have to be very creative in this field” How abstract ideas strike or come to yours mind?
Ans: Yes, of course. Just refresh your mind as much as possible, which really depends on yours own personality. Mind is only block in human factory that brings out the ideas. So far, polishing it “explore the world”.
Q: How do you find Interflow? Is it giving a tough time for this post?
Ans:”Professional, respectable and creative”. Yes, a hectic job out there in interflow. Well I am learning a lot here.
Q: On what projects you are working now days?
Ans: Well, on Mitchels, Everyday and Beaconhouse School.

Ans: Yes, I love to do something for Fastians.It would be my pleasure to speak on creativity and how it plays a role in advertising. I am also having some plans to share my all knowledge that I got from America with the students here in Pakistan.
